Water

bassetoodles water consumption

A healthy dog needs between half an ounce and an ounce of water for every pound of body weight per day. A 44-pound Bulldog, for instance, would need 22 to 44 ounces of water per day, or about 1/8 of a cup per pound of body weight. However, the quantity of water that is best for your Bulldog depends on a number of variables.

Several variables affect how much water a Bassedoodle dog has to drink, including as the dog's age, activity level, size, and climate. An adult Bassedoodle weighing 20–40 pounds usually needs 1–1.5 cups of water per day as a recommendation. However, it's important to remember that different Bassedoodles may have different hydration requirements and may need more or less water.

In warm weather or after exercise, it is particularly important to make sure your Bassedoodle has access to enough of clean water. To make sure they're getting enough to drink, you should check on their water bowl and supply levels often.

It's also important to remember that a dog's thirst might be exacerbated by certain medical conditions or drugs.
