Bernedoodles have somewhat strong bites, weighing approximately 200 PSI (pounds per square inch). When compared to the ordinary dog, which has a bite force of about 200 to 400 PSI, this is a very mild amount of biting power.
Even though Bernedoodles, like many other dog breeds, have powerful jaws, it's important to be careful around unfamiliar people and animals until the dog is thoroughly trained
However, it's important to remember that Bernedoodles are recognized for their generally placid and friendly disposition, which makes them great family pets. They need nothing in the way of attention or management.
If they were to bite someone, the bite force may be strong enough to inflict harm, but it's not as strong as, say, a Rottweiler's or a German Shepherd's. Many people believe that Bernedoodles are the ideal dog because of their even temperament and robust build.
