The betta akarensis is specially bred for acquiring trends. They have stunning appearances that easily catch the viewer's attention and are the best match for an aquarium. Tank size

When you put the decorations make sure that they do not have sharp edges because sharp objects cut the bettas dedicated fin. You can use Indian almond leaves which resemble their habitat as well as provide filter air.

Betta comes from a South Asian warm environment so they naturally prefer to live in a warm environment. You can put heaters in the tank to keep them warm, the temperature ranges between 76 and 80.
Lighting
Betta fish prefer natural lighting, for the growth of the plant. They follow natural lifecycle in day and night time. betta work during day time and sleep at night time. At night Betta prefers darkness for their sleeping. If possible, avoid direct sunlight because of the rising water temperature. Instead of natural light, you can add artificial lighting in the tank.
Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate:
Ammonia and nitrite are extremely toxic to fish; they should always be 0 ppm. Nitrate can be below 20 ppm, which is managed by regular water changes and a good filtration system. A high toxin level may kill the betta.
Ideal tank mate
The betta are known to be aggressive and have a peaceful nature, so it is better to keep them with a peaceful species. They are not compatible with aggressive species, they give them stress.
Here are some suitable tankmates for the betta; who share the same parameters as a betta; and belong to the peaceful community. Add a species that lives in the bottom or mid water like tetras, corydoras, catfish, shrimps, African dwarf frogs, or groups of guppies.
African dwarf frog:

Ghost shrimp:

Dwarf crayfish

Corydoras
Corydoras is a freshwater catfish that belongs to the callichthyidae family and Corydoradinae subfamily. a 10-gallon capability of tank size. The water temperature required between 72 to 79 F (22 to 26 C), the PH value between 6.5 to 7.0. The hardness of water is up to 5 - 10 dGH. They prefer an omnivore diet.
