Boxer dogs might differ in their tolerance to hot and cold weather. Mild weather is usually more to their liking. Extreme temperatures may be harmful to boxers, so it's important to take measures to keep them comfortable.

Heatstroke and other heat-related problems may affect Boxers in hot weather. Their short hair and brachycephalic (short-nosed) face shape could make it difficult for them to cool down effectively.

During the warmest portions of the day, it's best to avoid vigorous exertion, give them plenty of shade, and make sure they have drink. Boxers are susceptible to dangerously high body temperatures, therefore it's important to keep them out of hot cars.

In a similar vein, Boxers' short coat makes them more vulnerable to cold temperatures. If it becomes cold outside, they'll be more comfortable in a sweater or jacket designed for dogs. Also, pay attention to symptoms like shivering that can indicate discomfort, and stay inside when the weather is too chilly.

Temperatures ranging from 6 to 21 degrees Celsius (or 20 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit) are often seen to be pleasant for Boxers. Nevertheless, it is essential to consider your dog's unique requirements, since their temperature tolerance might vary depending on variables such as age, health, and acclimatization.
