Boxers, being an active breed, need plenty of playing and exercise to burn off all that excess energy. This can include activities like running, playing with other dogs, or participating in dog sports like agility or fetch.
Boxers, being clever dogs, thrive when given mental challenges and opportunities for training. To keep your mind active and your behaviours good, make training activities a regular part of your schedule. Great choices include puzzle toys, tricks, and obedience training.
Interactions with people and displays of affection are essential to a Boxer's well-being. Make an effort to pet, snuggle, and otherwise show them how much they mean to you. Do things like go on grooming dates or just spend quality time together that will bring you closer.
Socializing with both humans and other canines is very beneficial for boxers. Arrange for your dog to meet up with other dogs for playdates or take them to the park if they need some socializing. This may help them avoid behavioral issues and keep their social adjustment.
Whenever possible, include the kids in family activities, including going on trips or going to the beach. The opportunity to spend time with loved ones and experience a sense of community will be much valued
Show them lots of love, attention, and positive interactions by being fully present and involved when you're together. Boxers are very sociable dogs that get the most out of spending time with their human family.
