Water

oasis of water for your cava tzu

Water availability: Whether inside or out, your Cava Tzu has to be able to drink water whenever it wants. They will always be able to have a drink of water if there is a bowl set out for them in an easily accessible area.

Be sure to fill the water dish on a consistent basis: Be sure to give your Cava Tzu access to a clean, full water bowl on a regular basis. Due to their clumsy nature, dogs sometimes pollute their drinking water with debris or saliva.

Think about the temperature and the degree of activity: During warmer weather or after vigorous exercise, your Cava Tzu's water consumption will increase. Hot weather and physical activity can contribute to a dog's increased risk of dehydration. Make sure they have water available to them and keep an eye on how much they drink to make sure they don't become dehydrated.

Get a good dish for holding water: Pick a water dish that won't tip over and can be easily rinsed off. Some canines, particularly those that aren't as thirsty as others, may require a little nudging in order to drink enough water. To help them drink more water, you may dilute their meal with a little water. To further facilitate your Cava Tzu's access to water, you may choose to provide many water bowls in various rooms around the home.

Be mindful of your hydration consumption and your overall health: If you own a Cava Tzu, it's important to monitor their water consumption and note any modifications that occur. If your pet suddenly stops drinking water or develops extreme thirst, it may be time to make an appointment with the vet to rule out any underlying health problems.
