The Corman Shepherd may be described as a cross between the German Shepherd and the Corgi. Although its ancestry is shrouded in mystery, it's safe to assume that the hybrid dog first appeared in recent decades when breeders attempted to mix the working prowess and brains of the German Shepherd with the sociability and compact stature of the Corgi.
A hybrid of the German Shepherd and the Corgi, the Corman Shepherd possesses the best traits of both parent breeds. There is little information available about the history of this hybrid, but it presumably originated in recent years when breeders wanted to produce a dog with the intellect and working ability of the German Shepherd and the smaller size and sociable temperament of the Corgi.
The Corman Shepherd is well-known for its devoted and loving nature towards its human family. Because of the deep relationships they create with their masters and their fierce loyalty, they make fantastic guard dogs. These canines are smart and eager to please, qualities that make them easy to teach and quick to obey.
