The origin of pink betta can be traced back to the shallow rice fields of southeast Asia, mainly Thailand previously known as the Siams source. betta is a gene of Siamese fighting fish. Chocolate betta is mostly found in South Asian countries. Pink betta is an aggressive and territorial fish. A betta is specifically bred for the aquarium trend but they are quite aggressive.
In Thailand, in the 19th century, they also banned the Pink betta fighting for entertainment and money. It Is illegal to place money on betta fights, but they secretly contest in Malaysia and Vietnam.
