Veiltail Betta is known for her stunning appearance and breathtaking look. Likewise, they are quite similar to fantail goldfish, because they both have very long and dedicated fins. The caudal fin and anal fins are split, so the dorsal fin is taken erect. The dorsal fin grows as large as 2 inches and ¼ inches tall. Because of the very tall dorsal fin, veiltail has an excessive pelvic and pectoral fin.

Veiltail bettas are large, sweeping, and flowing tails that droop behind the fin. The betta is available in a different color combination and fin variation. This is an ideal choice for the breeder to experiment with the betta breeder.

They are available in different variety of colors such as solid red, blue, yellow, black, white, vibrant orange, multi-color marble, candy, Nemo, galaxy, fancy copper, cellophane, galaxy koi, purple, alien. Some dragon scale betta has rare colors such as solid orange, metallic, turquoise, lavender, mustered gas, grizzle, green and purple.

As an appearance male veiltail and female veiltail are similar except for coloration; males have bright colors and long tails and fins, and in counterpart females, has less colorful and short tails and fins. Male fish are small compared to females, female fish have round bodies where whereas males have slim bodies. When they are ready to breed their appearance change.

A veiltail betta has thin and transparent tails and fins. This is a bright color fish and comes in different color shades such as red, and orange. Some of the fish have white or dark color patches on their body and metallic scales. A veiltail goldfish has egg shaped body with round stomachs and wide heads.

Adult veiltail grow up to 6-7 inches and their fin is 3 inches long which is grown up to 4 inches.

Adding a veiltail fish in the aquarium catches the fish lover's attention, but it is difficult to keep in. It is a coldwater delicate species, and very expensive to maintain and care for.
